Our Doctor
Margaret G. Ferrara, DDS
After graduating from NYU College of Dentistry with high honors, Dr. Ferrara was awarded a General Practice Residency (GPR) at the Manhattan Hospital for Veterans Affairs. Upon completion, she began working in private practice in both Manhattan and Connecticut.
The youngest of four daughters, Dr. Ferrara‘s interest in dentistry began during childhood, as she witnessed her father’s passion for the field through his work at his practice in Westport. She then decided to pursue dentistry, which encompasses her love of both science and artistry, and also her passion for helping others. She excelled both clinically and academically, having been inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) society for national dental honor at NYUCD, and completing a Senior Honors in Orofacial Pain and Temporomandibular disorders (TMD).
Dr. Ferrara is thrilled to have returned to Connecticut to work alongside her father and his amazing team in Shelton.
In her free time, Dr. Ferrara enjoys traveling, skiing, yoga, playing the piano, and spending time with her family and friends.
